Favorite Class: HIST 2: #EverythingHasAHistory: Understanding America TodayThis history class is dedicated to investigating the history behind current events. In this term, we looked at the history behind immigration, Silicon Valley, and affirmative action. And in the final weeks of the term, we were able to choose what we wanted to learn about, and we chose to look at the history of impeachment. It is a very cool class with great class discussions. I would highly recommend!

Favorite Class: COSC 1: Introduction to Programming and ComputationCOSC 1 is an intro to Computer Science course. I had never taken a CS course, so learning the new Python language was definitely tough! Even so, I learned so much about how to code, and the help provided by TAs and the professors is invaluable in this course!
SpringOnline
This was the first class I ever took in the African and African American Studies and Religion Department. It opened my eyes to the various ways African Americans in the Jim Crow era survived when the world was stacked up against them. I would highly recommend!

Favorite Class: Creative Writing Prose: The Short StoryThis class was a creative writing class, and it gave me a lot of insight into what I as an author should want my readers to do when they confront the piece. It was an amazing class, and it was so cool to be able to take it in London!

Favorite Class: REL 34: Christianity and Conversion in the Northern World: Vikings, Celts, and Anglo-SaxonsMy desire to learn about religion and history was thoroughly fulfilled in this class, where we looked at the various Christian conversions in different European areas. I learned a lot, and I really loved the prof's lectures!
SpringOn-Campus
I'm not taking any classes this term! Instead, I am doing a fellowship through the Leslie Center for Humanities, where I am writing an interconnected short story collection set in an evangelical church youth group.

For the first time since the pandemic started, I have been taking all of my classes at Dartmouth in person!
Coming Back to Campus to Snowball Fights and Friends
I am now settling into campus life again. And what better way to do this than attending the famous snowball fight?
Less Light and Last Days in London
I was not expecting the sun to go down at 3 PM over here in London, but when I leave the gym in the afternoon, I often come outside to a dark street.
Missing Dartmouth!
I am missing various aspects of campus life. Rush has come and gone, and people have had endless dinners and conversations in places I consider home. And it has made me realize that I am missing Dartmouth.
A Week in the Life of a Study Abroad Student
Since September, I have been in London studying on the English FSP at Queen Mary University of London. I decided to document a week in my life here, both the experiences of school and tourist life!
A Sunday on My Study Abroad
Today, I thought I would take you around on a "Study-Abroad Sunday" in London!
London Love!
Just recently, I've traded driving on the right side of the road to the left; a quiet New Hampshire town for a bustling global city; and American accents for British ones. That's right, I am currently in the United Kingdom!
So Long US, Hello UK!
Instead of taking classes on campus with the new 25s, I will be taking classes at Queen Mary University London!
Greek Life at Dartmouth
I think a big elephant in the room is the presence of Greek life. Everybody knows it exists; it just looms in the background of the discussion sometimes.
