Favorite Class: HIST 2: #EverythingHasAHistory: Understanding America TodayThis history class is dedicated to investigating the history behind current events. In this term, we looked at the history behind immigration, Silicon Valley, and affirmative action. And in the final weeks of the term, we were able to choose what we wanted to learn about, and we chose to look at the history of impeachment. It is a very cool class with great class discussions. I would highly recommend!

Favorite Class: COSC 1: Introduction to Programming and ComputationCOSC 1 is an intro to Computer Science course. I had never taken a CS course, so learning the new Python language was definitely tough! Even so, I learned so much about how to code, and the help provided by TAs and the professors is invaluable in this course!
SpringOnline
This was the first class I ever took in the African and African American Studies and Religion Department. It opened my eyes to the various ways African Americans in the Jim Crow era survived when the world was stacked up against them. I would highly recommend!

Favorite Class: REL 34: Christianity and Conversion in the Northern World: Vikings, Celts, and Anglo-SaxonsMy desire to learn about religion and history was thoroughly fulfilled in this class, where we looked at the various Christian conversions in different European areas. I learned a lot, and I really loved the prof's lectures!
SpringOn-Campus
I'm not taking any classes this term! Instead, I am doing a fellowship through the Leslie Center for Humanities, where I am writing an interconnected short story collection set in an evangelical church youth group.

The Glorious 3 Room Double
Was I going to get a good room? Who was going to be my roommate? Where was my dorm going to be?
My History Journey On Campus!
When I think of "old" at Dartmouth, I think of the many parts of campus that are rich in history. So this week, I went around to a couple of locations on campus to capture some of the historical parts of campus and their history.
Alumni Meetup!
Something that stands out about Dartmouth is the passion of its alumni. When I was back home recently, I was able to do something I've wanted to do for a while: sit down and catch up with my Dartmouth alumni interviewer!
When Homesickness Hits
The Fall term starts with having to get used to a new environment. And one of those things that comes with a new environment — something that I struggled with — is homesickness.
Winter Carnival!
It's that time of year! When the weather gets cold and the snow starts to fall, Dartmouth's annual Winter Carnival commences!
When Faith and Dartmouth Collide: Religious Life on Campus!
My faith is a very important part of my identity. Starting in the fall, I decided to join two Christian groups: Christian Union and Apologia, the Christian thought magazine on campus.
Would You, Could You, in the Snow? Snowball Fights at Dartmouth

Diving Deeper into the Culture of Panamá!
My time in Panamá has been a blast! Even here, I have seen the effects Dartmouth has had on me — all the way in Central America!
New Place = New Friends
I will bet you prospective '24s and '25s — or if you are a really ambitious 1st grader, '35s — five dollars that you are nervous about making friends on campus.
