Life during Winterim
I am writing this blog post a couple of weeks into the Winterim. I want to utilize this blog post to update you all on my life and what I typically do in my day. Firstly, I usually wake up at 8 am to get ready to work at Tuck Advisors, an investment bank run by a Tuck alum. I get to the Hanover office at 9 am and join our daily team huddle to go over my tasks for the day, emails, and personal projects. Afterwards, I usually spend a couple of hours reviewing the buyer list, creating company briefs, and joining client calls + finalizing notes.
This experience has been wonderful because I have learned so much about the intricacies of M&A and the many steps necessary for the overall process. I am really grateful for the support and guidance I have received from the CEO, James Marciano. He is a faucet of knowledge and has guided me tremendously throughout my entire time at the term. In addition, I have really enjoyed collaborating with my team members and learning from them as well! I highly recommend this experience to others, I only have good things to say about Tuck Advisors! I will definitely bring the lessons learned from this experience with me for the rest of my life as I continue to embark on my own journey.
Nevertheless, I usually finish my work for the day at 5 pm and get food in town to reward myself for the work I did, lol. I usually spend time with friends for a couple of hours and we probably watch horror movies in the common space room in Mid Mass. I probably go to bed at 10 or 11 pm.
I hope you all enjoyed learning more about the day in my life during the Winterim! I will make sure to update you all as I continue on my journey of personal development and growth! Until next time! :)
