Snow Day!
The snow started late into the night and carried on for over 24 hours. By morning, there was a solid foot of powdery snow covering every corner of campus, and it was beautiful. So, although midterm season is at full-swing, I couldn't resist the urge to get out and play. Here are some highlights.

Building a Snowman
Today I found out that a few of my friends had never built a snowman—so there was really no choice but to take them out for the first go at it. Thankfully, the snow was sticky and there was more than enough to make a full-size sculpture. He turned out great, if I do say so myself.

A Walk through the Green
As you can see, the Green is no longer green. It's an awesome view!

The Dartmouth Pine
This term, Dartmouth placed a pine tree in the very center of the Green. It is wrapped in lights that brighten up campus at night, and is a pretty sight from the ice skating rinks behind it. The snow made the sight even better.

The Walk Home
Unfortunately, I could not play in the snow all day. So after building our snowman and hanging out on the Green for a little while, it was time to head back to my dorm to prepare for exams. The walk back beautiful—the ground was completely covered in perfect snow.
It's days like these that make me love Dartmouth winters.
