Who said Halloween is just for kids? Highlights of this weekend include pumpkin carving with local kids, a Halloween-themed FoCo feast, and taking a bus down to Boston for the epic Harvard-Dartmouth football game.
One of the best parts of Dartmouth is the way that students are willing to cram in a ridiculous amount into any given term. This weekend has been no exception.
I thought I'd share some of my favorite memories from this weekend so that you can all get a better idea of what a holiday weekend at Dartmouth is like.
This weekend was one of my busiest and most fun weekends at Dartmouth so far! As I decompress from the whirlwind the past few days have been, I can't help but share my favorite moments from this amazing weekend:
The last week of October was especially ~spooky~ as I was able to find more time than usual to enjoy my weekend with friends and the small-town-charm of Hanover.
After walking around campus all day in eye-catching attire, we headed to a Murder Mystery night hosted by Phi Tau (a fraternity) in one of the tents scattered around campus.
Apart from maybe midterm season, Halloween is definitely the scariest time of the year—and at Dartmouth, we go all out for Halloween.
Fall is definitely in full-swing, and with Halloween right around the corner, I think I'll reflect on the meaning of this holiday — particularly during a pandemic.
