The transition to Hanover's winter was initially scary. But I ended up embracing the cold pretty quickly!

It's winter everyone! Although I definitely have enjoyed my time inside drinking hot chocolate and tea, I finally set much time aside this weekend to have fun outdoors!

Now that it's winter, the outdoors offer plenty of opportunities for fun activities. This weekend I decided to go ice skating with my friends at Occom Pond.

I've never been a big fan of winter, but the fun activities Dartmouth has to offer during the season are nothing short of incredible.

Over the weekend, my friends and I decided to walk to Occom Pond for some ice skating.

As someone coming from a warm state, the idea of cold winters was frightening as well as fascinating. After a few days on campus, I learned winter was only the latter. Read on to see a few things I've learned from my first winter!

Snow, snow, snow, and more snow! Although my courses have definitely been difficult to manage, I have still been able to participate in some ~cool~ activities and admire winter in Hanover.
