Parking
Weekday visitor parking with extended time limits is available in the Anderson Parking Garage or G-Lot. Saturday parking is free in any campus lot.
Parking in Anderson Garage (GPS address: 15 Thayer Drive, Hanover, NH)
- $15 flat rate per day, pay by credit card
- Park in any non-reserved space. EV Charging available
- Walk (10 minutes) to McNutt Hall: take elevators to Ground Level of Engineering and Computer Science Center (ECSC), walk up Tuck Drive towards Baker Library, turn right onto Main Street and proceed to McNutt Hall.
Parking in G-Lot (GPS address: 1 Dewey Field Road, Hanover, NH)
- $1.75/hour, up to a full day, pay using the ParkMobile website or app.
- Park in "ParkMobile Visitor" spaces marked with lime-green ParkMobile signs along the edge of the lot. Parking spaces without a ParkMobile sign are restricted to permit-holders only.
- Walk (15 minutes) south through campus to McNutt Hall.
Accessible parking for those with state-issued accessible parking plates or placards is available adjacent to the south side of McNutt Hall on Sanborn Lane. The accessible entrance to McNutt Hall is located on the north side of the building with ramp access to the basement and elevator.
NOTE: Other parking options may have short time restrictions, permit restrictions, or are in private lots which can charge fines of up to $150 for illegal parking. Please use an option listed above for any admissions programming and pay careful attention to parking signage.
Travel
Airports
We suggest flying into Boston Logan airport and taking the Dartmouth Coach from the airport to the Dartmouth Campus (the Hanover stop).
- Boston Logan (BOS) is 2.5 hours south. The Dartmouth Coach connects Hanover to Boston and Logan Airport. The Coach stop is on the south side of the Green.
- Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT) is 90 minutes south of Hanover. There is Greyhound bus service to nearby White River Junction, Vermont from Manchester Airport three times daily.
- Lebanon (N.H.) Municipal Airport (LEB), 10 miles from campus, is served by daily commuter flights to Boston and New York. General aviation service is also available.
Trains
Amtrak's "Vermonter" service from Washington and New York arrives daily in nearby White River Junction, Vermont.
Buses
- Dartmouth Coach (800) 637-0123 offers daily service between the Dartmouth campus, Boston's South Station, and Logan Airport (BOS). Roundtrip service leaves Hanover every two hours, at least 6 times each day. Dartmouth Coach also offers daily service between Hanover and New York City. The coach stop is on the south side of the Green.
- Greyhound bus service (800) 231-2222 from across the region arriving daily in White River Junction, Vermont, with connections to the Dartmouth campus.
Lodging
On Campus
Dartmouth's Hanover Inn is on campus, facing the Green. It can't be beat for location and amenities, and it offers a package deal for visitors.

If the Hanover Inn is full, you can try other local accommodations.
Staying in a Residence Hall
The Admissions Office does not facilitate overnight visits for prospective students.
