What's the "Take a Faculty Member to Lunch" program? Read about my experience taking my seminar professor to PINE restaurant!

Before coming to college, I was afraid of not finding an academic mentor during my undergraduate studies. However, I have found that Dartmouth's community of professors to be absolutely astonishing and I could not be more grateful.

Here's a reflection on my experience taking my computer science professor out for a free meal paid for by the school!

As Dartmouth prepares to welcome the incoming Class of 2026 this fall, I was inspired to interview Professor Doyle and understand what makes Dartmouth such a unique and exciting community from a professor's perspective.

As part of the Teacher Appreciation Week, I want to thank all the teachers who helped me transition to college and the exceptional professors who welcomed me into their classrooms at Dartmouth.

One of the ways Dartmouth fosters this close relationship between faculty and students is through the Take Your Professor To Lunch program.
