We encourage you to experience Dartmouth in person, online, or both! We've created opportunities for you to engage in meaningful conversations with professors about their research, to hear from current students and ask them questions in real-time, and to spend time—online or in person—with your Class of '29 classmates.

Experience Dartmouth In Person

We are convinced that you'll thrive here and invite you to visit Dartmouth this month to see why. Members of the Dartmouth community are looking forward to showing you what makes Dartmouth special! From faculty members who welcome you to sit in on their classes, to students looking forward to sharing a meal with you, we all hope you'll take advantage of this time to see why you belong at Dartmouth. Choose a date to visit below.

We've put together some tips for making your journey to Hanover as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

Campus Hosts: When you come to campus during the month of April, you'll have the opportunity to be matched with a current student as a lunch host during the day, or as an overnight host if you plan to stay on campus. Your host can help you make a plan for how to experience the Dartmouth community first-hand. Sign up for a Dimensions visit or a Plan Your Own Day visit to start the host-matching process.

Dimensions of Dartmouth

Offered April 14 and April 28, Dimensions of Dartmouth is our signature admitted student program designed to give you a sneak peek into a day in the life as a Dartmouth student. Choose the events you'd like to attend and plan to arrive an hour before your first event to have time to park and check in. Sit in on classes beginning at 10:10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 12:50 p.m.; enjoy a meal in '53 Commons; drop in for academic office hours designed especially for you; meet current students and Student Life staff at an open house. If you can stick around after 5:00 p.m., explore campus and meet more students at fun and interactive events that give you the inside scoop on student life. Let us show you all the reasons why you belong at Dartmouth!

Plan Your Own Visit

If you are not able to attend either Dimensions program, you are welcome to visit campus any Monday—Thursday in April. Sit in on a class, enjoy a meal in the dining hall, and explore parts of campus that aren't on the tour. Classes are available Mondays and Wednesdays beginning at 10:10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 12:50 p.m., or Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning at 10:10 a.m. or 2:25 p.m. Take advantage of the time you spend on campus to see why you belong at Dartmouth! Learn more on our Plan Your Own Day page.

Experience Dartmouth Virtually

Virtual Programs

Virtual programs make it possible for everyone to experience Dartmouth. Throughout the month of April, we'll host a number of live, interactive programs which provide an opportunity for admitted students to learn directly from professors about the research they are working on, to hear from current students about their life at Dartmouth, and to ask questions in real-time.

Connect With Dartmouth Students

Many questions are best answered by a current student and our students are ready with answers. Take a look at our Connect With A Student page and you'll see students from all over the world with various interests and majors who are involved in a wide variety of activities. If you're wondering what it was like moving to Hanover from a large city, how to decide what classes to take, or if there is time to keep doing all the things you love to do, our students can fill you in!
