While your student attends a Dartmouth class, Lee Coffin, Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid, and Kathryn Bezella, Dean of Undergraduate Admissions, welcome the parents and supporters of the Dartmouth Class of 2029. Scholars Who Teach: Faculty Panel  11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
While your student attends a Dartmouth class, join a faculty panel to learn about excellence in teaching at Dartmouth and how Dartmouth students benefit from their expertise and passion in and out of the classroom. Location Grand Ballroom, Hanover Inn

Scholars Who Teach: Academic & Social Success  11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
How do friendships matter for academic and social success in and beyond college? Associate Professor of Sociology Janice McCabe will present her research on the ways that campuses shape college students' networks. In addition to teaching courses on gender, youth, education, social problems, and research methods, Professor McCabe is one of Dartmouth's six residential house professors. This program will be presented on April 14 only. Location Hayward, Hanover Inn

Admissions Beat Podcast Recording  3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
While students are at the Activities & Student Life Fair, join a live recording of the popular podcast, Admissions Beat, which provides practical advice for parents and students. Lee Coffin, Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid, will be joined by Jacques Steinberg '88, New York Times best-selling author of The College Conversation. Audience participation is encouraged! This program will be presented on April 14 only. Location Cook Auditorium, The Arthur L. Irving Institute for Energy & Society

Four Years From Now: Dartmouth Student Outcomes  4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Learn from a panel of faculty, staff, and students about the various ways that Dartmouth supports undergraduates through meaningful career exploration and into a wide range of post-graduate outcomes. Location Cook Auditorium, The Arthur L. Irving Institute for Energy & Society

Reception for Family Members and Supporters. 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
While your student explores various Dartmouth opportunities and experiences, Dean Kathryn Bezella invites family members and supporters to enjoy drinks and a selection of local cheeses with some of the many professionals in the Dartmouth community who support students in their intellectual and personal growth.  Location 33 Tuck Mall, The Arthur L. People, Places, Pines Student Blog

Through student blog posts, People Places Pines shares the lives of Dartmouth students, offering an inside look at their everyday experiences. From the best study spots, to insights about favorite classes, to how students spend their free time, these student-narrated stories will give you a look at what to expect when you say "yes" to Dartmouth.

3D Magazine

3D is a magazine about Dartmouth in all its dimensions. In it, you'll find stories celebrating a vibrant community framed by nature with challenging and welcoming professors, an adventurous and friendly student body, and a rigorous yet flexible liberal arts curriculum.

We've asked your student to accept (or decline) the offer of admission by May 1. It's as simple as submitting the enrollment form which they will find on their portal—no deposit required.

In mid- to late-May, all members of the entering class will start to receive more details and information regarding New Student Orientation, housing, and academic choices. The New Student Orientation website is a great general resource as well.

Family Weekend 2025
