Scholars Who Teach: Academic & Social Success 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
How do friendships matter for academic and social success in and beyond college? Associate Professor of Sociology Janice McCabe will present her research on the ways that campuses shape college students' networks. In addition to teaching courses on gender, youth, education, social problems, and research methods, Professor McCabe is one of Dartmouth's six residential house professors. Admissions Beat Podcast Recording 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
While students are at the Activities & Student Life Fair, join a live recording of the popular podcast, Admissions Beat, which provides practical advice for parents and students. Lee Coffin, Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid, will be joined by Jacques Steinberg '88, New York Times best-selling author of The College Conversation. Audience participation is encouraged!
