Here's a reflection on my experience taking my computer science professor out for a free meal paid for by the school!
As Dartmouth prepares to welcome the incoming Class of 2026 this fall, I was inspired to interview Professor Doyle and understand what makes Dartmouth such a unique and exciting community from a professor's perspective.
As part of the Teacher Appreciation Week, I want to thank all the teachers who helped me transition to college and the exceptional professors who welcomed me into their classrooms at Dartmouth.
As I am reflecting on my Dartmouth experience thus far, I want to dedicate this post to Dr. Petre.
One of the ways Dartmouth fosters this close relationship between faculty and students is through the Take Your Professor To Lunch program.
Ever have a super cool professor and wish you could get to know them outside the classroom? Look no further because the Undergraduate Deans Office offers a Take a Faculty Member to Lunch program at Pine Restaurant.
Most faculty of this College can blow you out of orbit with how awesome they are. Professor Ryan Hickox, however, feels out of this world. The fact he's an astronomer definitely helps.
Dartmouth's liberal arts curriculum requires first year students to take Writing 2-3 or Writing 5. This term, I took Writing 5: Rhetoric and Disability with Professor Annika Konrad.
Professor Jacobi, one of my favorite professors at Dartmouth, is retiring this year, after 44 years of teaching (22 of which were at Dartmouth!).
