Traveling Home During the Term!
Coming from Philadelphia, traveling home during the weekend is not a terribly difficult thing to do. Although the drive itself is about 6 and a half hours, I decided to fly home, which made the journey a little bit shorter! Let me tell you about what it is like to travel for a quick trip and how easy it is to do so!
I left on Friday afternoon, after my classes were done. Luckily, the Dartmouth Coach pretty much runs all day, so I was able to hop on the bus to get to the airport. The drive is about 3 hours long, which allowed me to get some work done! You get dropped off right in front of the terminal, and then you can walk right to the security line. After that, I took about an hour-long flight home, and ended up at my house about 30 minutes later. It was super nice to be with my parents and in my own bed for a few nights, and all of that is thanks to how accessible the airport is from Dartmouth with the Coach bus!
The next day, I watched my high school's production of Chicago, which was simply incredible. Being able to reunite with all of my friends and reconnect with my high school was amazing and provided me with a breath of fresh air. I spent the entire day with friends and family, and it gave me a short yet nice break at home.

The next day, it was time to go back to Dartmouth! I took another hour-long flight back to the Boston airport, and hopped on the Coach bus to go back to campus. It is super easy to find the Coach bus as there are signs pointing to where it picks up. It was about a 3 hour drive back to campus, which allowed me to finish up with any assignments I had left. Once I got back, I hung out with friends and watched the Oscars together!

All in all, because of Dartmouth's implementation of transportation, getting home this weekend was super easy and incredibly fun!
