This term, I got to explore a few new food spots around town with my friends, so here are the top eats of my first spring!

1. Pastries from Umpleby's Bakery & Cafe: My sister and I stopped by when she came to Hanover to visit, and we chose the strawberry-raspberry tart and chocolate-almond croissant. It was just as incredibly indulgent as you're imagining.

2. Shakshuka at Pine: This was my first time at Pine for breakfast, which has a separate menu from the rest of the day. I chose the Shakshuka, an egg dish with a rich tomato sauce, and this one was topped with smoked salmon.

3. Blueberry pancake at Shyrl's Diner: My acapella group, The Decibelles, went to the cutest diner in West Lebanon for a final breakfast with the seniors who were graduating. It was so cozy in the restaurant, and the food was so SO good!

4. Mixed Berry pancake at Lou's Restaurant & Bakery: A close second to my pancakes at Shyrl's is the pancake I had from Lou's, which is located right on Main Street in Hanover. This pancake is absolutely HUGE and is filled with different types of juicy berries. It was so big, I had to share it with my friends to try to finish it!

5. Indian food at FOCO: One of my favorite nights at the dining hall this term was when they had Butter Chicken!

6. Brie and Apple Baguette with an Arnold Palmer from Still North Books and Bar: My tried and true. This was from one of the particularly warm days we had this spring, which paired so well with the refreshing iced tea! I also make up my baguette with a little bit of cinnamon and honey!

7. Vegetable Chow Fun and Double-cooked Pork from Han Fusion: Han is the Chinese restaurant we have in town, and this was my first time trying it! I really enjoyed both dishes, and I'm excited to explore the rest of their expansive menu!

8. Fruit tart from My Brigadeiro: My Brig is a small dessert shop in town, and this was my first time trying their sweets! The fruits were all very fresh, and the tart shell was very crunchy—also, 10/10 presentation!
