As summer comes to an end, Dartmouth is prepping to welcome the class of '24 to their first year on campus. So, one of the questions they and their families have in their mind is: what's the food like?
There are so many things that come to mind when I ask myself what I miss about campus. The smiles as you pass classmates on the Green, the satisfaction of finishing a paper in the Baker Berry tower room, the sweet taste of a FOCO cookie.
'24s, as the beginning of your Dartmouth experience nears, I thought that I would provide you with a couple of my own insights into what kind of things you will need to bring with you if you're on campus for your first term at Dartmouth.
Last week, I virtually hosted an incoming student, and it was funny to me how he shared a lot of the worries I once had. So, hopefully I can help another incoming student or two by sharing my worries: and why I'm no longer worried about them.
As I make my way through my first spring as a Dartmouth student, my camera roll won't stop reminding me of my home in Hanover.
At first I was scared of Dartmouth's isolation. Now it's one of my favorite parts about campus.
