I was admitted Early Decision but cannot enroll due to financial reasons. Can I be released from the binding contract?

Students can be released from the binding Early Decision commitment if the aid awarded will not be sufficient to make enrollment possible.  We hope to avoid this situation and will work with you to see if there are any adjustments that can be made to the initial award offer based on new information or special circumstances.  But, if these discussions do not result in the outcome you desire, Admissions will release the student to forfeit their offer of admission and apply to other institutions.
