As someone who came into college super interested in pursuing undergraduate research, Dartmouth has not disappointed!

Considering that we're almost halfway through the term, I thought I'd do a little what I do in a day, especially since I wasn't on campus last term.

"Big Data Science in Hydrology" pulls content from computer science, environmental statistics, and hydrology—the study of the movement of Earth's water—to form a really interesting interdisciplinary class.

Until now, I've attended all my classes at Dartmouth via Zoom. Today marked a milestone for me as I ventured to a socially-distanced classroom for the very first time to attend Global Health & Society (a relevant class given current events!)

One of my favorite parts about Dartmouth is how open the academic environment feels.

Professors at Dartmouth really love their discipline and want to share their knowledge with as many students as possible through a variety of resources. I'll walk you through some of the ways they do this while telling you about my classes this term.

DUJS is a great opportunity for students across campus to get together and discuss scientific thought and innovation, whether from psychology, astrophysics, or more social justice-oriented medical research.

Winterim has zoomed by and I'm so ready to begin a new term, probably filled to the brim with classes, extracurriculars, and lots and lots of skiing, but—first—I'll give a little bit of info what I did over winter break. 

Finding pretty places to power through schoolwork has definitely made my Dartmouth experience better, and—luckily for students—there's no shortage of beautiful places on campus.
