What I Love About Dartmouth
In no particular order, here are a few places and ways I love to spend my free time as a student at Dartmouth. I hope this post can give you a glimpse into how wonderful campus life can be!

Rollerblading
Rollerblading is one of the most popular spring pastimes here at Dartmouth. On nice days, expect to see groups of friends zooming around campus, from Occom Pond all the way to the Green. I’m just a beginner, but I’m improving with every practice session.

Zipcar Adventures
Five friends and I reserved a Zipcar (a car-sharing company) to hike to the top of Gile Mountain, a 20-minute drive from campus. When I came here in the fall, the view was a sea of red, orange, and yellow, so it was amazing to see the contrast from October to April.

Spring Days Outside
This photo was taken at the side of Baker-Berry Library. I appreciate how there are so many spots around campus for students to do work outside and enjoy some vitamin D!

Lounging on the Connecticut River
I’m only a ten-minute walk to the Connecticut River, which is an absolutely fantastic destination for an afternoon full of paddleboarding, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, and tanning. Groups love to hang by the dock and dive into the water! This is an especially popular location during sophomore summer.

Eating Lunch on the Green
My roommate Alexa and I often swing by Collis Cafe and enjoy our lunch out on the Green, either on a picnic blanket or a bench. The Green is also a great spot to enjoy playing spikeball, ultimate frisbee, or pass a soccer ball around.

3FB
The third floor of Baker-Berry Library is a quiet, productive, and beautiful spot to grind. The seats are super comfy and the views are immaculate as well, especially during sundown.

Night Walks under the Stars
Baker-Berry at night looks like it comes straight out of a painting. I’m incredibly grateful to be on campus this spring and can’t believe I’ll be a sophomore in a couple of weeks.
