The first year of college comes with its challenges, but it is also an incredibly rewarding and fun period. Here is some advice I wish I knew my first year at Dartmouth.
With the winter term almost coming to an end, I wanted to share with everyone another "A Day in the Life" as my schedule and commitments changed slightly!
For those who work-study, how do you balance it? Is it manageable?

Honestly, the term "work-study" makes having a part-time job seem quite intense on a college campus. However, having an on campus job is definitely a lot easier than you think!
Wow. It has been one hectic week! There has been so much to do and accomplish (a lot more to go too), so I'm going to tell you all about what one of my typical weeks this term looks like.
For the D-Plan, do students take classes for all four quarters a year or can they take one quarter off a year?

Although the D-Plan seems complicated, I truly have enjoyed learning about how I will be able to plan out my next four years at Dartmouth. Almost all students take a quarter off a year instead of taking classes all four quarters during the year.
