Photos from Vienna FSP
Although I am currently on campus for my sophomore summer, I wanted to reflect on my study abroad in Vienna, Austria, by looking through my camera roll. There were so many places I was able to travel to and visit during my time in Austria. I went to many cities in Austria, Germany, Czechia, Hungary, and Slovenia, which made for an incredibly eventful term. I could share countless memories or stories, but I would rather let you see a few images and memories I captured while traveling. Enjoy!

Salzburg, Austria
One of my absolute favorite moments from my study abroad was going to Salzburg, Austria, for two days. It was just stunning to see the nature surrounding the city, and the people we interacted with were incredibly friendly. On our tour, we saw many spots where Mozart worked and other composers traveled and some spots where The Sound of Music was filmed!

Melk, Austria
One of our day trips was to a town near Vienna, and it was such an amazing trip. It was a cultural excursion teaching us about the ways of living in these smaller towns. In this picture, I am sliding down a farmer's hill so we could get back on the road and say hello to the farmers.

Prague Kafka Sculpture
This moment was probably the highlight of my entire study-abroad trip. Luckily, we all got a one-week break in the middle of our trip due to Austria having many national holidays and the academic schedule we had. Therefore, I did my first solo trip around Europe and visited many cities. However, my biggest decision was to see this sculpture in Prague, Czechia, which I had been interested in for several years: Franz Kafka - Rotating Head by David Cerny. I facetimed my friends and had them watch the sculpture move with me for an hour. I definitely recommend seeing this statue if you ever go to Prague.

Vienna Riesenrad
This is the famous Viennese Giant Ferris Wheel located in Vienna, Austria! In high school, I researched this Ferris wheel for my German class and had always wanted to visit since. Going on the ride and getting a bird's-eye view of the park in Prater was another one of my favorite moments of the trip.

Maribor, Slovenia
During the last two weeks of my study abroad, I decided to last minute travel to Slovenia with several of my friends. It was one of the most chaotic day-trips that I think I will ever go on. From hiking out of the city on accident to thinking we missed our bus back home, this trip was filled with twists and turns. The country was absolutely beautiful, and I would love to return to Maribor, Slovenia, if I ever get the chance. This picture was taken while on our long hike.
