Hello everyone and welcome to 21X, sophomore summer for the '23s!
What's something you've done at Dartmouth that you couldn't have done or experienced anywhere else?
This is a hard question because I feel like there are many things unique to Dartmouth. The location, the community, the traditions...
Due to the remote nature of the term, this summer I'm not taking classes, and instead doing research, even though it is my sophomore summer...
I've now spent not one, but TWO summers at Dartmouth. So I figured I'd compile a list with my favorite Sophomore Summer (and Freshman Summer!) memories.
I think it's cool to keep track of the unique mood of each term at Dartmouth with a specific playlist capturing my favorite songs at the time. Here are some (in chronological order) that remind me of Darty.
What experience/class/program at Dartmouth has been the most memorable for you?
One of the most memorable experiences I have had at Dartmouth was sophomore summer.
Since my birthday also falls close to July 4th, there were some on-campus events, no school on a Thursday, and a weekend for my sister to visit via the Dartmouth Coach from Boston.
So far, each day has had its own instantaneous excursions, everything from friends calling to swim in the river to brief trips off exploring in the woods.
