Baker Berry Tower looking incredible in the sunset

As Hanover, NH awakens with the gentle touch of spring, I find myself immersed in the profound importance of spending time in nature. The past 3 years here have taught me invaluable lessons about the rejuvenating power of outdoor experiences, and from hiking the 50 Freshman Fall to heading on a cabin trip in the next month or so, the outdoors has been a key part of my Dartmouth experience.

In a fast-paced world filled with screens and schedules, spending time in nature serves as a sanctuary for the soul. Whether it's the tranquil rustle of leaves while walking Gile, the soothing melody of a Mink brook, or the vast expanse of starlit skies over the golf course, nature has a way of grounding us and offering moments of solace and serenity. The healing touch of nature is not just a luxury but a necessity for nurturing our well-being and mental clarity.

An example of nature at its best...

This month, my heart is filled with anticipation for an upcoming cabin trip with a couple of fellow fraternity brothers nestled in the embrace of nature. We will be heading to a farm in Vermont, which will be a long-needed escape from the bustle of classes, social engagements, and coursework! One of the beauties of being in such a serene place is that it is quite frankly so easy to escape the stresses of College life.

As I eagerly anticipate the cabin trip, I am reminded of the timeless wisdom found in nature's rhythms. It's a reminder to slow down, to savor each moment, and to embrace the journey with open hearts and curious minds. I can't wait to play Spikeball, chill out in nature, and reflect on the past few years at Dartmouth.
