Mondays—Thursdays in April

We hope you can attend one of our two planned Dimensions of Dartmouth days, but if those dates don't work for you, you are welcome to visit campus any Monday—Thursday in April. Let us show you all the reasons why you belong at Dartmouth!

Register for Your Dartmouth Visit

Come to campus and spend some time in the spaces that interest you most. Register to get matched with a student host and explore Dartmouth at your own pace.

Prior to your arrival, reach out to our faculty members to arrange individual meetings (as available) or connect with your host to sit in on some of their classes.

Admissions staff will be on hand at check-in to help you make the most of your visit.

Check-in

Pick up everything you need for your Plan Your Own Day experience. Chat with Admissions staff to plan out your day and get answers to any questions you may have.

8:00 a.m. – 2:00 a.m.
Explore the Library

Discover the resources available to Dartmouth students. Grab a treat at the Novack Café between 7:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Location: Baker-Berry Library

9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Attend a Class (Students Only)

Pick up a list of classes that are open to admitted students when you grab your visitor packet at the Admissions Office in McNutt Hall.

Visit our Financial Aid Office

Dartmouth's Financial Aid office is happy to meet with '28s and their families. Our office is closed from 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m.

9:45 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 1:45 p.m., or 3:00 p.m.
Info Session & Campus Tour
Join a 30-minute info session with admissions staff, followed by an hour-long campus tour. A current student will take you around campus, answering questions and telling you about their Dartmouth experience.
Location: Admissions Office, McNutt Hall

10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (Tuesdays and Wednesdays ONLY)
Stop and Smell the Flowers

Enjoy a walk through our multi-room greenhouse, home to a stunning variety of plants, including the Brout Orchid Collection which includes nearly a thousand orchids of many species and hybrids.
Location: Greenhouse, Class of 1978 Life Sciences Center

11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Behold Dartmouth's Art Collection (Wednesdays and Thursdays ONLY)

The Hood Museum of Art is home to one of the oldest and largest collections of any college or university in the country. The Museum is open Wednesday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., and Thursday, 11 a.m.-8 p.m.

12:00 p.m. – 1:45 p.m.
Eat Lunch with a Student
Join your student host for lunch in the main campus dining hall which includes 8 distinct stations, each serving a different style of food, ranging from kosher to a meat-free kitchen serving vegetarian and vegan dishes.
Location: Class of 1953 Commons (collect a voucher from the Admissions Office when you check in)

1:00 p.m. (Mondays ONLY)
See what Engineering at Dartmouth is all About

Learn how Dartmouth's engineering students enjoy top-level facilities and opportunities you can't find at other schools. You will have a 30-minute information session with a faculty or senior staff member followed by a tour of the engineering facility given by a current engineering major.
Available: Glycofi Atrium, MacLean Engineering Sciences Center, Thayer School. Pre-registration required; please use this visit page to schedule.

Listen Up!

Hear the Baker Tower Bells play the Alma Mater. Dartmouth is one of the last colleges that still uses real bells.
Location: While you can hear this from many locations on campus, the best spot might be The Green.
