Now that it's winter, the outdoors offer plenty of opportunities for fun activities. This weekend I decided to go ice skating with my friends at Occom Pond.
I've never been a big fan of winter, but the fun activities Dartmouth has to offer during the season are nothing short of incredible.
Over the weekend, my friends and I decided to walk to Occom Pond for some ice skating.
As someone coming from a warm state, the idea of cold winters was frightening as well as fascinating. After a few days on campus, I learned winter was only the latter. Read on to see a few things I've learned from my first winter!
This year, given all the memories I missed out on due to COVID-19, I decided to brainstorm a list of everything I wanted to do before leaving Dartmouth.
Snow, snow, snow, and more snow! Although my courses have definitely been difficult to manage, I have still been able to participate in some ~cool~ activities and admire winter in Hanover.

In previous winters, I was able to skate on Occom Pond, usually at events with my Living Learning Community, and I'm glad to see that we're still able to take part in such winter festivities even with COVID-19 restrictions.
