I love food and cultural-oriented food as well, so what's there to eat at Dartmouth?
'53 Commons, otherwise commonly referred to as FoCo, is the main dining hall on campus. In fall term of your freshmen year, you will probably be frequenting FoCo habitually because of your first-year dining plan.
Being gone from campus for a full year and now living off-campus, I am currently feeling some serious nostalgia for delicious food and amazing staff of Dartmouth Dining Services (DDS).
What are some out-of-state tips? Anything to know about moving in, weather, etc?
Coming from Pennsylvania, my experiences moving into Dartmouth differed greatly from my friends who are from places like Arizona, British Columbia, or California. However, there are a bunch of different tips that still apply to everyone!
The college selection process was far more challenging as an introvert. During my freshman year, I've had the opportunity befriend people who fall all over the introverted/extroverted spectrum.
Is it difficult to be introverted at Dartmouth?
First off, I consider myself an ambivert—not too much of an extrovert nor an introvert.
When I was in high school, I had little understanding of Greek life. As a senior, I can confidently say that my sorority experience has been nothing like Legally Blonde, and it has definitely been worth my time.
"The days are slow, but the weeks are fast." This advice was offered to me during fall term, and I've since quoted it a dozen times, and thought it daily.
