Achieving a sense of balance is key at Dartmouth! As students, we often find ourselves navigating a plethora of commitments, from coursework to extracurricular activities. In this blog, I want to talk about how we can foster an environment that encourages a holistic approach to life, promoting both intellectual and personal growth.

The College offers a range of resources dedicated to supporting students' physical, mental, and emotional well-being:

Dick's House Health Service: Dartmouth's comprehensive health service provides students with access to medical care, counseling, and wellness programs. The professional and caring staff at Dick's House are committed to addressing students' physical and mental health needs.

The Student Wellness Center (SWC): The SWC offers confidential counseling services to help students navigate the challenges of college life. From organised wellness programs such as yoga to just having someone to talk to, it can be an instrumental part of managing stress at Dartmouth.

The Collis Center for Student Involvement: Collis is not just a hub for student activities; it's also a place where students can find resources for personal and academic growth. The range of student groups at Dartmouth provides a constant stream of opportunities to meet new people and find new fun activities to supplement (or distract you from) your classes!

The Dartmouth Outing Club (DOC): Nestled in the heart of the outdoors, the DOC offers students the opportunity to connect with nature. Whether it's hiking, camping, or simply enjoying the scenic beauty of the Upper Valley, the DOC promotes wellness through outdoor exploration.

Going on hikes through the DOC and with friends is one of the best ways to feel some relief from schoolwork!
