This class was SO interesting... We dug into the history of racial inequality in Brazil, stretching from the advent of slavery to persisting modern societal issues.
A course that I took completely impulsively turned into one of the most formative experiences I have had at Dartmouth. Through physical mediums and theatre, I rediscovered what it meant to be 'creative.'
Having always had a hatred for learning languages, I was wary of the requirement to do so here at Dartmouth. In reality, though, I needn't have worried! I absolutely loved every minute of this class, and now I can speak pretty good Italian!
This class was extremely enlightening, and it was especially interesting to study as a British person. I felt as though I brought a unique perspective to the class, but also that I was learning a side of history which was brushed past in my GCSEs!
I spent this term completing research with Professor Cascio of the Economics Department. Our work was concerned with educational investment, and it was one of my best experiences of Dartmouth so far!
This course teaches all about the economics of the development of economies, focusing on many case studies concerning education, housing, healthcare, and more!
Hanover undergoes a breathtaking transformation as winter's icy grip loosens, revealing the vibrant colors of spring. The Dartmouth Green, once blanketed in snow, becomes a canvas for nature's artistry. The trees regrow their leaves and wildlife returns, creating a metamorphosis of the landscape that seems to be right out of romantic prose. As a Dartmouth student, the arrival of spring is like witnessing the awakening of a living masterpiece.
As the days lengthen and temperatures rise, the sounds of spring fill the air. The chirping of birds, the gentle rustle of leaves, and of course, the sound of textbook pages flipping on the green create a symphony of springtime melodies. It's a season that beckons everyone to step outside, breathe in the fresh air, and revel in the joy of newfound warmth.
Dartmouth's commitment to outdoor exploration is never more evident than in the spring. The Dartmouth Outing Club (DOC) comes alive with a myriad of activities, from hiking and kayaking to exploring the nearby trails and waterways. Spring is the perfect time to join your fellow students in embracing the natural beauty surrounding Hanover, fostering a sense of adventure and camaraderie.

As spring unfolds its petals, Dartmouth welcomes one of its most celebrated traditions – Green Key Weekend. This annual event is a perfect encapsulation of the joy and excitement that comes with the arrival of warmer weather. From outdoor concerts and festive gatherings to a lively atmosphere permeating the campus, Green Key is a true celebration of spring's vibrancy. It is always exciting to hear who the annual headline artist will be!
With the arrival of spring, studying takes on a whole new dimension. The library isn't the only place to hit the books; outdoor spaces become extensions of the classroom. Whether it's finding a cozy spot on the Green or studying beneath the blossoming trees, spring provides the perfect backdrop for academic renewal and inspiration.
