The spring quarter has so many vibrant events and activities to choose from at Dartmouth. April showers definitely bring May flowers, as trees and colorful flowers have begun to bloom around campus. My week was not entirely eventful due to midterms being in full swing, yet the warm weather brought joyful energy from students like me.

Every term, I rotate through different study spaces around the library and other beautiful places. Recently, I have been studying at the Engineering and Computer Science Center (ECSC). While I use the space to study as a Humanities student, the ECSC also houses the Magnuson Center for Entrepreneurship, the Electron Microscope Facility, and the Dali Lab. These additives expand the opportunities for students to engage in research and entrepreneurship.

Once beams of sunlight radiate through the campus, students flock to the Dartmouth Green. The focal point of campus features expansive patches of grass that people frequently hold picnics, play spikeball, and walk their dogs. Some days, I will opt for studying on the Green rather than finding a spot in the ECSC building or the library. This week featured many trips to the Green, as it was warm and sunny outside.

Within some Living Learning Communities (LLCs), separate dorm communities in specialization of culture or academics, there are weekly dinners. A few of my close friends live in the Shabazz Center for Intellectual Inquiry, and they invite me to their weekly Sunday dinners. Each student living in the LLC has the opportunity to cook!

Dartmouth has five audition-based dance troupes—Sheba, Ujima, Sugarplum, Fusion Dance Ensemble, and Raaz. From a variety of different styles of dance, each group is unique. Another group, Street Soul, is not audition-based, inspiring many open-rehearsal practices regardless of experience. This week, all the dance troupes showcased their techniques through a school-wide performance. (Watching all the amazing groups perform felt as though I was watching a dance movie!)

Another lovely feature of Dartmouth is the presence of food trucks that circulate on campus occasionally! This week, a Kona Ice truck parked in front of one of our dining halls. During the weekend, the truck was also parked on Webster Avenue, allowing many people to enjoy a refreshing snow cone while listening to student bands play at Saturday's spring events.

Finally, I ended my awesome week by attending the Spring Football game. While I would usually cheer during the football games, spring is my team's off-season. Thus, I was able to sit in the stands and enjoy watching the scrimmage with the football team rivaling each other.

Cheers to another great week at Dartmouth!
