Classes are well underway, we've completed our 14-day quarantine, and it's the perfect time to soak in the sun with new friends!
How would I describe experiencing the four seasons at Dartmouth?
I've now spent not one, but TWO summers at Dartmouth. So I figured I'd compile a list with my favorite Sophomore Summer (and Freshman Summer!) memories.
When it’s 70 degrees and sunny, the halls of Baker-Berry are empty; the entire campus is outside.
The sidewalks may have been a bit slick, but the conditions offered a perfect chance to make optimal use of slippery surfaces, and students certainly didn’t hesitate.
The next morning we were greeted by beautiful mounds of frosty white flakes covering our campus outside our windows - it was my very first snow experience!
The pictures below constitute a selection of snapshots I took trying to preserve the memory of those special moments when, alone on the streets of Hanover, Dartmouth seemingly whispered: “Welcome home!”
