A weekend in big-city Boston allowed me to reflect on Dartmouth's unique rural location.
It is also fun to get out of Hanover and go to a big city for the weekend. Luckily, heading out to Boston or New York for the weekend is also something that's easy to do.
Over the weekend, some friends and I went to Boston to see Maude Latour!! The Dartmouth Coach gives us the best of both worlds: a small, tight-knit college with a VERY active campus life and all of the joys of the city!!
I want to debunk a common conception of Dartmouth: I'd like to argue that Dartmouth "isn't" really the middle of nowhere.
Every now and then, I like getting off-campus. Personally, I feel like a change of scenarios is a need! This weekend, I had the opportunity to escape campus for the first time this term!
This weekend was one of my busiest and most fun weekends at Dartmouth so far! As I decompress from the whirlwind the past few days have been, I can't help but share my favorite moments from this amazing weekend:
While I'm not in Hanover, Dartmouth's opportunities have allowed me to feel like I almost am!
On a typical Saturday, I find myself cozied up in the library, working through homework assignments with friends -- but this Saturday was not a typical one. I signed up to go on a day trip to Boston with North Park, my community house.
