A Close-Up of some Corn in the Maze

This past Sunday, a few friends and I decided to fully embrace the fall season and headed to a nearby corn maze for some classic autumn fun. We'd heard great things about the local farm's maze, but it exceeded expectations! The weather was crisp and sunny—perfect for getting lost in rows of towering cornstalks.

The maze was trickier than I expected, with a few twists and turns that had us doubling back more than once. We teamed up and tried to navigate as best we could, laughing every time we realized we'd ended up right back where we started. It was the perfect blend of friendly competition and teamwork, and we all agreed that it made for an epic start to fall.

As we entered the corn maze, we were filled with excitement!

After we finally found our way out, we explored the farm's market, which was filled with seasonal produce and local goodies. I couldn't resist picking up some fresh honey and Vermont maple syrup. The honey had this beautiful amber color, and the person at the stand explained how each jar's flavor reflects the blossoms nearby, which felt like such a cool connection to the land. And the maple syrup—well, you just can't say no to that here in New England.

Now my pantry's stocked with some delicious local treats, and I'm already thinking about ways to use them. Pancakes, anyone? The whole day was such a perfect escape from campus and a reminder of why I love the fall season here. There's something so grounding about spending time outdoors, supporting local farms, and just soaking up the beauty of autumn with friends
