Spring Break in Review!
Dartmouth loves to treat us with long breaks in between terms. For spring break, we had about 2 and a half weeks off, which gave everyone time to travel and relax before spring term! I made sure to take some time for myself, but also meet up with friends that I have not seen in a few months! Because of the long break, it was super easy to hang out with many of my friends since their breaks tended to overlap with mine. Let me tell you about the highlights of spring break!
During one of the weekends of spring break, I went to Washington D.C. (which is about 2 and a half hours from where I live) to visit friends from Dartmouth! It was so amazing to catch up with them and hang out with them in a place other than Dartmouth, and we explored D.C. as well as the surrounding area. Because of the length of our spring break, we were there for a few nights and got to see so many iconic sites such as the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial. It was a great time and it was so nice to travel to such an amazing place.

I also went into Philly for the day (which is a much quicker trip) and visited my friends at Temple University. Although they were not on break at the same time I was, it was just a quick train ride to get into the city and see them. We walked around Temple, visited Center City, and hung out and caught up! It was really cool to visit a school that is in a bustling city, which is very different from Dartmouth's campus! I also have friends at Villanova University, which is about a 10 minute drive from where I live, so I was able to visit them as well; this was all thanks to the length of our spring break and I am so grateful that I had the time to see as many people as possible!
Because Dartmouth gives us such a nice spring break, you have so much time to do whatever you want!
