The College offers 35 varsity sports as well as 35 club and 24 intramural teams, and three of every four Dartmouth undergraduates participate in some form of athletics. They benefit from Dartmouth Peak Performance, a comprehensive program designed to position student-athletes to achieve the highest levels of physical, intellectual, and personal growth.

Ariana Ramsey '22 Wins Bronze at 2024 Olympic Games
Ramsey assisted in the game-winning try against Australia to lead the U.S. to its first-ever Olympic rugby medal. During her five years competing for Dartmouth women's rugby, she was essential to the team's two NIRA Division I Championship wins and was the 2022 NIRA Division Championship MVP.
Dartmouth Secures Fourth Ivy League Title in Five Years
The Big Green football team clinched the Ivy League Championship with a 56-28 win over Brown University. Helping the team secure the win was Ejike Adele '25, Ivy League Defensive Player of the Year, and quarterback Jackson Proctor '25, who scored a record-tying seven touchdowns against the Bears.
Equestrian Earns #1 Ranking
With a win over Sacred Heart on Senior Day and a perfect 5-0 fall season, Dartmouth placed first in the National Collegiate Equestrian Association poll for the first time in school history.
