The Coach departs on schedule—be sure to be waiting at the designated bus stop prior to the departure time listed on your ticket.
From Boston: The Dartmouth Coach bus stop is located at South Station in Boston, Massachusetts. (Your ticket will indicate whether you are departing from Logan Airport or South Station.)
From New York City: The Dartmouth Coach NYC bus stop is located in Midtown Manhattan at 150 East 42nd Street, between Lexington and 3rd Avenue.
Arriving in Hanover: The Dartmouth Coach will drop you in front of the Rauner Library near the center of campus. From there you will be greeted by Dartmouth Admissions staff. Check-in for the Indigenous Fly-In Program will take place on the second floor of McNutt Hall, a short walk from the bus stop.

Check in for your Flight: Check in on your airline's website within 24 hours of your departure to confirm and see your boarding passes. If you have a smartphone, you can download and check in using the airline's app.
Boarding Passes: If possible, print your boarding passes or plan to use the airline's app. This will save you time at the airport. Additionally, have your Dartmouth Coach tickets easily accessible on your phone for the driver to scan.
Arrive at the Airport: Arrive two hours prior to your scheduled departure. This will ensure you have plenty of time to check in with your airline, go through security, and make it to your departure gate.
Carry-on vs. Checked Luggage: Some airlines charge a fee to check a bag. Either bring a carry-on bag or be prepared with cash or a credit card to pay a fee to check a bag. You can check the airline website for their policy regarding baggage sizes and checked bag fees. This fee will not be paid by Dartmouth, so we recommend bringing a carry-on bag instead.
Identification: If you are 18-years or older, you will need a government-issued ID, such as a passport, driver's license, non-driver ID card, or a permanent resident card. Finding Your Bus at Logan Airport: When you arrive at Logan Airport, follow the signs inside the airport to "Ground Transportation". If you need any help finding the Dartmouth Coach bus stop, text (603) 606-9411. There will be two Admissions Officers at the airport to direct you to the Dartmouth Coach bus stop.
Check-in for the program will take place in the Admissions Office, on the second floor of McNutt Hall.
Parking in designated parking spaces on campus is free on Sundays.
If you will be parking a vehicle for the duration of the program, please let us know.

Missed or Delayed Flight: If you miss a flight or encounter problems or delays that require you to reschedule your transportation, seek out airline staff members to assist you—they are there to help! Explain to staff that you are traveling alone and don't be afraid to be assertive.

Missed Bus: If you are in Boston, it's okay! Your ticket is still valid for the next scheduled Dartmouth Coach bus departure from Logan Airport. The last bus leaves Logan Airport at 8:50 p.m. daily. The Dartmouth Coach bus departure from New York City only happens once a day. If you have missed the New York City bus, please call us at (603) 646-3360.
Bring what you think you'll need to be comfortable in a residence hall with the understanding that bedding is not provided, and you may end up sleeping on a couch or on the floor. Showers will be available—please bring your own toiletries, towel, and bedding/sleeping bag.
We recommend that you check the forecast for Hanover, NH prior to packing. Bring clothing you'll be comfortable in. We recommend layers and comfortable shoes.
Call Home: Remember to call home, especially if any problems or delays occur while you are traveling. Your family will appreciate an update about your trip and your well-being.
