Eating on Campus
Although Dartmouth only has one main dining hall, Foco, there are numerous other places around campus for all students. There are five main places, which are The Fern, Courtyard Cafe (also called the Hop), Collis Cafe, Novack Cafe, and Ramekin. I mainly eat at The Fern, Collis, and Novack, so I will talk about them in this blog! However, I have heard endless love for both Ramekin and Courtyard Cafe, so those are also safe bets if you want a meal.
The Fern: Located in the Irving Institute, the Fern is an amazing place to get some coffee, a breakfast item, or even lunch! Because it is so close to my residential hall, French Hall, it is a go-to place for me. This place takes dining swipes as well as dining dollars and has so many incredible options. My personal favorites are the smokehouse turkey melt as well as the chocolate croissant, but everything there is truly to die for!

Collis Cafe: Located right in front of Foco, Collis Cafe is an incredibly popular spot for all three meals of the day! They have some incredible options, such as sushi, stir-fry, pasta, smoothies and pre-made sandwiches, so they really have everything. They also have some delicious baked goods (the pumpkin bread is my personal favorite) and they also take dining swipes and dining dollars. Although I have never had a smoothie, I have heard that they are truly the best thing about Collis, so you have to check it out!
Novack Cafe: Located within Baker-Berry Library, Novack is very popular, especially in between classes (the line is sometimes out of the door). They have similar options to The Fern, but they have Starbucks coffee which is really nice! They also have a mini-cafe with snacks, sushi, and so many other options, so the selections there are truly endless. Novack also takes dining swipes and dining dollars, and my favorite things to get there are the chocolate chip scones and ham and swiss melt!

As you can see, there is an abundance of options for food on campus, and they are all amazing spots!
