There are many people in the Dartmouth community who are excited to welcome you. We've collected a few letters from people around campus, some you will meet when you arrive in the fall, some who will be graduating this June and are encouraging you to follow in their footsteps. Please enjoy these sentiments of congratulations and welcome.

Congratulations on your admission to Dartmouth! In the coming weeks, you'll hear from many folks across our campus. As Interim Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences, my entire focus is on the undergraduate experience here at Dartmouth, both inside and outside of the classroom. Just last month, I attended a poster symposium for the Dartmouth Center for Social Impact, where 41 students across all class years and majors were showcasing their experiences in the ImpACT Winterim Leadership Intensive, with project topics ranging from community health and well-being to conservation efforts to access for differently-abled individuals. Here, we empower you to engage in critical inquiry across disciplines, crafting your own uniquely Dartmouth experience—I can't wait to see what yours looks like!

Wishing you a smooth, successful finish to your senior year, and looking forward to meeting you, along with the rest of the Class of 2030, on campus this fall.

Nina Pavcnik
Interim Dean, School of Arts and Sciences

Congratulations! Welcome to Dartmouth's Class of 2030. The team at the Hood Museum of Art can't wait to meet you.

The Hood Museum is free and open to all. Our collection of 72,000+ objects, representing diverse artistic traditions on a global scale, will be at your fingertips. As a student, there are many ways to experience the Hood: engage with art through innovative programming and student-developed events, see works from the collection up close in our Bernstein Center for Object Study, or flex your creativity with artmaking activities each term. You can even live with museum-quality artworks through the Student Art Lending at Dartmouth (SALAD) program.

Whether you talk with professors, explore the galleries between classes, join the Museum Club, or spend time with new friends, we hope you come visit us often and get inspired by the art on view!

Hello and welcome to Dartmouth!

One of the things that makes Dartmouth special is how central the arts are to life on campus—and how open they are to everyone. At the Hopkins Center for the Arts, you don't need to be a major or minor to participate in our ensembles, maker spaces, performances, films, or creative communities. Whether you've been making art for years, are eager to keep it a meaningful part of your life, or are simply curious to try something new, you'll find a place here.

What Dartmouth does especially well is offer these opportunities for all students with an exceptionally high level of artistic excellence and support. You might find yourself touring internationally with an ensemble, spending an evening with the Dartmouth Film Society, stepping into a maker space with nothing but an idea—gaining hands-on experience through fellowships, internships, or student employment in the arts. Or you might simply take a seat for a great film or an unforgettable performance by a world-class, headlining artist, made accessible at special student pricing.

We can't wait to welcome you to the Hop.

Warmly,

Joshua Price Kol '93
Managing Director/Executive Producer

Dear '30s,

Congratulations! As the Class of '26 senior class president and vice president, we're excited to welcome you to a community full of opportunity, growth, and lifelong friendships.

JJ: Dartmouth has taken me whitewater kayaking in Ecuador, to oral arguments at the U.S. Supreme Court, across the country for Club Tennis nationals, into research on pretrial diversion programs, to work in the U.S. Senate, to study abroad in London, and introduced me to unforgettable campus traditions.

Brooke: Dartmouth has allowed me to continue my passion for dance with the Dance Team, learn to ski at the Skiway, and explore my interest in law through courses ranging from Environmental Law to Native American Literature and the Law.

When you arrive here in the fall, remember to try new things, embrace Dartmouth's close-knit campus, and make memories you'll carry forever!

Best,

JJ Dega '26, Senior Class President
Brooke Kries '26, Senior Class Vice President
