A snowball fight? On the Green? At midnight?

While eating dinner with my friends one day, I checked my email and saw a message from…. Dr. Seuss?

At the time of writing this, homecoming will be long past. But, even after several weeks, I still look fondly on it. 

Eating dinner with my fellow Native students and hearing them introduce themselves in the languages of their tribes and peoples was not only uniquely beautiful but enriching in a different way entirely.

Dartmouth has a pre-orientation tradition of taking hundreds of incoming freshmen into the wilderness for several days for a program we call First Year Trips.
