Hi and welcome! My name is Sasha, and I'm a '29 from Chernivtsi, Ukraine. I plan to study Cognitive Science and Linguistics. I love going on walks, hanging out in Hanover coffeeshops and having fun study sessions with my friends. So excited to be sharing my Dartmouth journey with you!

      Favorite Class: COGS 1: Introduction to Cognitive Science

      Before taking COGS 1, I didn't even know what cognitive science was. I came out of the first lecture 99% sure I wanted to major in it! COGS 1 gives a great overview of multiple areas: anthropology and linguistics, AI and neuroscience, and more. The lectures were super engaging; we stared at optical illusions, played economic games with real money and created our own 'Turing tests.' I'd recommend this course to anyone who loves interdisciplinary fields and wants to take a deep dive into the human mind (not just the brain, but mind)!
