Financial Aid Apply for Aid

Federal Loan Information

Federal financial aid is available to US citizens and permanent residents at graduate level provided they are enrolled at least half-time and making satisfactory academic progress in a degree program.

How The Federal Loan Application Process Works

There are two applications:

  1. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be completed each year.  Dartmouth's school code is 002573.  The FAFSA is the only form required for Federal Student Aid.

  2. The Dartmouth College Graduate Student Financial Aid Application must be completed to notify us of your intended enrollment plan. Download the 2017-2018 Graduate Financial Aid Application.
