Some of my favorite activities I've done this term are my on-campus jobs. It's a great way to earn some money while taking classes and getting the opportunity to meet new people you otherwise might not have met.
So, why I am living a freshman dorm as a junior? It's because I'm an Undergraduate Advisor (UGA) this year, which means I'll be advising all the freshmen (25s) on my floor!
Coming from a boarding school, I didn't get to work during the weekends. Coming into Dartmouth, I was excited at the prospect of being able to finally get into the workforce. There are many reasons why you would want to work.
This wouldn't be possible without the amazingly helpful resources that Dartmouth offers international students, whether that's OVIS, my international student mentor, or the various other offices and students who are always there to support me.
