When moving into campus, all first-year students are automatically assigned to a house. Being a member of Allen House, I have found home in my dorm and real friendship in my housemates.
As an undergraduate advisor (UGA), one of the most rewarding parts of my job is to plan fun programming events for the 35 members of my first-year floor that bring the community together and make everyone feel at home.
Today, I thought I'd reflect on my Dartmouth move in experience and share how I've been adjusting to residential life at West House so far in the "new norm."
From spacious singles to doubles with a view; from living in a loft to living with a dog, I have had quite the range of experiences living on campus at Dartmouth.
