A Definitive Ranking of Pizza in Hanover
In my humble opinion, no city, town, or village is complete without good pizza. Luckily for us here at Dartmouth, there is good pizza to be found in Hanover if you know where to look! Check out my rankings from worst to best pizza in Hanover: I rated on price, accessibility, and most of all, taste!

C&A's pizza has been around Hanover for so long that it is almost more of a historical landmark than it is a pizza restaurant. It is located across the street from the Black Family Visual Arts Center (BVAC), but in all the time I spend at BVAC, I have never seen anyone go in or out of C&A's before. The first time I tried C&A's pizza I was shocked to learn that they even deliver anymore. The few times I have attempted to place an order, no one answered the phone. To be perfectly honest, I have no idea how they are still in business! Anyway, back to the important question at hand: how does their pizza actually taste? All the pizzas I tried were plain cheese (I have to control some variables and respect the scientific method, you know), and C&A's cheese pizza did nothing for me. It was reminiscent of amusement park pizza: super greasy, and with uneven crust that was crunchy where it shouldn't have been and chewy in strange places. I was dissapointed, but luckily C&As isn't our only option. On to the next one!

I'm sure you have all heard of, if not tasted, Domino's Pizza before. The appeal of fast, cheap pizza at all hours is not lost on me, but I just can't bring myself to compromise on taste. A lot of people love Domino's garlic crust, and it is not bad, but it's not the best in Hanover. Unfortunately, the addition of the brand new Domino's store in Hanover pushed out a veteran pizza place, Everything But Anchovies (R.I.P), that had been around for decades. Domino's gets the middle score for its accessibility, low cost, and relatively decent pizza, taking those two qualities into account.

Ramunto's Brick and Brew
If you have read my blog author bio, then you know I was biased going into writing this article. I have tasted pizza from all three establishments in this article, but I order Ramunto's at least once a week, if not more. Every night, you can get a 99 cent slice of cheese pizza past 9pm if you walk into the restaurant. Their delivery is reasonably fast and pretty affordable, but the real reason they are the winner by a landslide is that their pizza is just so good! The crust is fluffy and they use generous amounts of cheese with just the right amount of sauce. They also offer a dizzying array of different types of pizza to choose from, but even if I am only judging from plain cheese, Ramunto's is the clear winner. Nothing will help you get through finals more than a hot Ramunto's pizza delivered right to your door (or to the library, it's up to you!).
