Just Another Manic Monday
Climbing out of bed on a Monday morning is bad enough. Remembering that growing pile of problem sets you neglected to do over the weekend is worse (yes, academic rigor is real). But it's a typical Monday, and I'm currently completing those aforementioned problem sets as I write this.
But as a note to myself, I should be more positive. It's May (finally)! The Green is actually green, strawberries are in season, and basically, campus is #thriving.
So even though it's a Monday, I actually had a great day. Here's what I did:
- No. 1
Pet Campus Doggos
There's nothing better than greeting doggos on campus! Residents love to bring their dogs to campus because they get lots of attention from students like me. This beautiful boy was playing frisbee on the Green when I met him.
- No. 2
Said Unplanned Hellos!
I ran into my friend Hayley on the way back to the River (our lovely, albeit faraway, home). Because Dartmouth is a small, tightknit community, you'll run into friends all the time!
- No. 3
Scaled a Wall
I've passed Dartmouth's climbing gym almost every day this year without even knowing it existed. One of my friends goes there all the time and took me with her at the beginning of this term; she now takes me with her at least once a week. It's free your fall term, btw!
- No. 4
Ate Delicious Food
*Insert heart eyes emoji here* Just look at that salmon.
Food explorations with friends is probably one of my favorite pasttimes.
- No. 5
Took a Walk
It's PRIDE at Dartmouth! That means that Dartmouth Hall is decked out in the colors of the rainbow to honor the celebrations. Campus is also extra festive!

Looked Up
Studying for midterms and cranking out problem sets may not always be fun, but Dartmouth's libraries are so aesthetic you sometimes feel like you're learning magic at Hogwarts. Among my favorite study spots: the Rauner Special Collections Library (pictured)
