Special Visit Days
Thinking about choosing Dartmouth? Even a brief visit to campus can help you make up your mind. Why not register for an Admissions information day or swing by for a chat over coffee with a Dartmouth student?
Prospective Student Visits
Each term, our Admissions team organizes a number of planned days and special events for prospective students and their families. We offer student-led tours of the campus, Admissions information sessions, student forums, and plenty of opportunities for you to ask questions about learning and living here at Dartmouth. Prospective students are invited to sit in on a class during fall and winter term visits. Due to the high number of campus visitors in the spring and summer, we are not able to offer classroom visits during spring and summer terms.
Apart from our seasonal full-day programs, we can often arrange for you to chat directly with a Dartmouth student or hear from a faculty member at one of our information sessions. Details about special days, informal chats, and planned events are available below and will be updated with more information closer to the date they take place. Please note: space is limited and registration is first come, first served.
Our faculty are one of the reasons Dartmouth is so fantastic (and ranked in the Top 5 in commitment to undergraduate teaching!). They are in the classroom teaching and mentoring students like you. During our Faculty Friday Special Visit Days, you’ll hear them talk about why they teach at Dartmouth, and how they use their expertise to inspire in the classroom everyday. You’ll learn what it’s really like to live and learn in the Big Green community while taking a special campus tour, hearing about our unique D-Plan, and eating lunch alongside a current student or admissions officer ready to answer your questions. Be sure to sit in on our special information sessions about engineering, pre-health, our admissions process and exceptional financial aid. Summer is a great time to visit campus!
